Discovery

Understanding the problem space

01The original problem

The new studio needed awareness around its opening and clear reasons for prospective members to explore its classes, memberships, and events.

02What needed to improve

Opening announcements, pricing, wellness education, and event promotion needed to feel like one connected story rather than separate messages.

03Why the work mattered

The content was organised around three audience questions: What is opening? What does the studio offer? Why should I join?

Audience research

Who we needed to reach

What success needed to look like

  1. 01Build local awareness around the studio opening.
  2. 02Make the founding membership offer easy to understand and compare.
  3. 03Show the studio as both a wellness space and a social community.

insight
A strong offer becomes more compelling when the value is translated into a familiar, practical comparison.

The strategy

A reason behind every creative choice

01

Clarify the offer

I translated pricing into a simple comparison: five $29 drop-ins cost $145, compared with the $119 monthly unlimited founding membership.

02

Create launch momentum

Opening and grand-opening assets introduced the studio consistently across announcements, reels, and social graphics.

03

Show the community

Content for experiences such as Pilates, Pour & Bites presented the social side of the studio and gave audiences another reason to engage.

Creative concept

A connected launch story spanning awareness, offer explanation, and event promotion.

Content direction

Consistent typography and colour treatments across opening, membership, event, and educational assets.

Messaging

What is opening? What does it offer? Why should someone join?

Distribution

Instagram reels, carousels, promotional graphics, and Meta content.

Why this approach

Clear, repeated messaging helps a local audience understand both the practical and community value of a new studio.

Reflection

What I took forward

A strong offer needs a clear explanation. Translating membership pricing into a familiar comparison makes the value easier to understand and gives the audience a practical basis for deciding.
